It's that time of year again! Snowflake Lane, in my opinion, is Bellevue's best holiday event. There are drummer boys and girls that drum along with Christmas music booming from the sky. You can also find Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Penguins, Polar Bears, Christmas Fairies, and a beautiful Holiday Princess. They all walk around on both sides of the street for a few blocks singing and dancing, this lasts about 15 minutes. It was so fun watching Madi's face when she met the princess. She met a real life princess and she even got to hold her wand and make a wish. You know the Disney commercial where the kids faces just light up as they see something so magical, that was Madi. It definitely was a magical moment. Madi gave lots of winter creatures high fives and got to shake tambourines. She had such a fun time. Wesley on the other hand had a blank look on his face the entire time. I couldn't tell what that kid was thinking. A fairy was holding a long rod with some tinsel garland shooting out from the top. Wesley saw that and for the first time his face lit up and he pointed saying "Spider". What a silly boy. It was such a fun night, we just might have to go one more time before Christmas.
